A bit about cody

It all started when…

Cody’s passion for makeup began at a young age, inspired by her experiences wearing makeup for dance competitions. Her love for the craft grew over the years, leading her to experiment on herself and friends before formally pursuing her education in 2013 at Media Makeup Academy. After completing her first of three makeup courses, she was honored with the Most Outstanding Student award—marking the official launch of her career as a freelance makeup artist specializing in weddings, formals, and special events.

Determined to refine her skills, Cody went on to complete a Certificate II in Retail, Makeup & Skincare and a Diploma of Specialist Makeup Services, accumulating over 80 hours of hands-on experience in various fields. Her industry training included high-fashion photoshoots, Adelaide Fashion Festival runway shows, face painting for children, the Credit Union Christmas Pageant, wrestling events, and SFX work for short films.

While completing her diploma and freelancing, Cody was offered a role at Inglot Cosmetics, where she worked alongside some of the most talented artists in the industry. This experience challenged her to master a wide range of makeup styles—from natural beauty looks to full glam and avant-garde designs—on clients of all ages, skin tones, and features. Her creativity and technical skill were recognized in 2016 when she was awarded Miss Creative across all of South Australia.

In 2017, Cody’s expertise earned her a spot on the Inglot Australia Pro Team, an elite group of eight artists selected nationwide. As a Pro Team member, she represented Inglot at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Sydney, working backstage with designer Mariam Seddiq. She also showcased her skills at IMATS Sydney (International Makeup Artist Trade Show), filmed makeup tutorials for Inglot Australia’s social media platforms, and contributed to industry events.

By late 2018, Cody transitioned into full-time freelance makeup artistry, bringing years of diverse industry experience to her clients. Whether for weddings, special events, editorial shoots, film, or runway, Cody’s expertise ensures a professional and tailored makeup experience that enhances each client’s unique beauty.

In 2023, Cody expanded her services by introducing eyelash extensions, specializing in hybrid-style wispy lashes. That same year, she joined MECCA as a Colour Specialist, working alongside incredible artists and deepening her product knowledge while continuing her freelance makeup work on weekends. Looking ahead, 2025 marks an exciting new chapter as Cody begins offering destination bridal makeup in Europe, with the goal of completing a full bridal season in Italy & Greece in 2026.
