FAQ
How long does a full face of makeup take?
A full face typically takes 45 minutes to 1 hour. A detailed breakdown of appointment times is available on the Bookings page. If you’re on a tight schedule, please let me know in advance so I can accommodate your needs.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
To ensure the best results, please follow these preparation tips:
• Have a general idea of your desired look (e.g., “Full coverage with brown eyeshadow” or “Natural look with a bright lip”). Inspiration photos are always welcome, as well as images of your outfit and accessories.
• Facial waxing/threading should be done at least one week prior to your appointment to avoid any skin irritation.
• Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face—removing makeup during your appointment may impact the timing.
• For hair styling appointments, please ensure your hair is clean (washed the night before or the morning of) and completely dry.
• A consistent skincare routine leading up to your appointment will help maximize your makeup’s longevity and finish. I personally use Kiehl’s skincare but recommend you seek a customized routine from a skin care specialist based on your personal skin care needs.
What products do you use?
I use high-end and professional makeup products to ensure longevity and a flawless finish. Some of the brands in my kit include M.A.C, Inglot, Laura Mercier, Too Faced, Tarte, Hourglass, Ellis Faas, NARS, Kosas, and more.
Do you offer mobile services?
My studio is located in St Clair, South Australia, but I am available for group bookings of three or more. Travel fees apply for on-location services.
How long will my makeup last?
Your makeup is designed to last all day and night. However, some natural wear may occur depending on your event and skin type. I recommend keeping a lipstick for touch-ups and optionally a pressed powder for shine control.
What are your qualifications?
I hold a Diploma of Specialist Makeup Services and a Certificate II in Retail Makeup and Skincare. I have also completed professional training during my time at Inglot Cosmeticsand as a Colour Specialist at MECCA.
